Who We Are
At the core of Biggest Little Therapies are co-founders Heather Rose and Renée Losey, two experienced and passionate speech-language pathologists dedicated to improving lives through personalized, accessible therapy. Drawing from their extensive backgrounds in speech-language pathology, Heather and Renée have created a practice that combines their shared values of compassion, expertise, and accessibility for clients across Northern Nevada.
A Foundation of Expertise
Heather and Renée bring decades of combined experience to their work, having honed their skills in diverse settings such as schools, clinics, homes, Early Intervention, and mobile therapy. They specialize in treating a wide range of communication and feeding challenges, from articulation and language disorders to more complex needs like Autism, Down Syndrome, and traumatic brain injuries.
Their qualifications include Certificates of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and specialized training in programs like the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Nevada Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (NVLend). This expertise ensures that Biggest Little Therapies delivers therapy that is both innovative and rooted in evidence-based practices.
Mobile Therapy Designed Around You
Biggest Little Therapies is built on the belief that therapy should fit seamlessly into your life. That’s why Heather and Renée designed their practice to be mobile, bringing therapy to the comfort of your home, school, or workplace. This approach not only removes barriers to care but also allows them to tailor interventions to your natural environment, making therapy more effective and functional for clients and their families. For added convenience, they also offer teletherapy, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for all.
Convenience Through Mobile Therapy
We understand that busy schedules, transportation challenges, or simply the desire to be in a comfortable environment can make it difficult to access traditional therapy. That’s why we’ve embraced a mobile therapy model, bringing our services directly to your home, school, or workplace. This approach allows us to design interventions that are functional and immediately applicable to your daily life. For even greater flexibility, we also offer teletherapy options, making care accessible wherever you are.
A Personalized Approach for All Ages
Unlike larger practices, we pride ourselves on getting to know each client and their family personally. From infants learning their first sounds to adults recovering from a brain injury, we take the time to understand your goals and create a therapy plan designed just for you.
At Biggest Little Therapies, our difference is simple: expert care, delivered where and how you need it most. Heather and Renée are more than therapists—they’re your partners in overcoming challenges and achieving lasting success.
As Northern Nevada natives, Heather and Renée are deeply connected to the communities they serve. They’ve made it their mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care to individuals across all ages, from infants to adults.
